Preschool

♫ There are 7 days, There are 7 days.. ♫ 

I started doing preschool with the boys this week. We have done lots of activities on and off since they were babies, but this is the first week I have actually made a lesson plan. :) ( the teacher in me can't help it!) We have bible with Sophie right after breakfast, then when she goes down for a nap we have calendar time. The boys love calendar time!

Then we get in our seats and learn about letters, sounds, prewriting, cutting, gluing, counting. singing, reading and lots more. Usually we get down on the floor some too. I am excited to add extra activities as they learn more. They love "school"!










Sophie update...She is no longer a crawler...but fully walking! She is walking all the time now. I took this video 2 days ago and she is walking more stable even since then!! Such a big girl!





Poor thing as been sick all week. I'm hoping she will get completely better this weekend. It's been a long week with her crying and holding on to me this week. Yea for a long weekend with Daddy!

Favorite new past time

Sophie is definitely a mama's girl. She follows me around everywhere and loves for me to hold her. I really enjoy her wanting to snuggle all the time and give big wet kisses! She is a girly girly. She loves her baby dolls and already holds them and gives them kisses. Her brother are her favorite play mates. She loves to play in the room and pull their hair! One of her favorite activities to do is to pull all their books from their bookshelf. She started walking last week and is getting better everyday. We got her first pair of shoes this weekend, because now that she is walking, it is all she wants to do! Sophie is not a huge fan of bible class, because she has a hard time being content for a long period of time. She will stay though, as long as mama is with her ;) She can say "Dada, Night-Night, No, Mama(but refuses to say it)". She loves touch and feel books, but will not sit still long enough for a longer book. I just read to her while she plays. She is so fun and smiles all the time. I love my precious girl!

We had a small family Minnie party the week before her birthday. Sophie loved all the decorations and had a blast!
